Yes, Thailand has that magic that kept me visiting twice a month! This time was Bangkok, and I have chosen a little cozy boutique hotel TENFACE to stay in. Sometimes I prefer boutique hotels as they are less “formal”, and make you feel more like home. Those little touches in the rooms often give you nice surprises =)
The normal rooms are spacious, with a proper living room area, 2 balconies, and a bedroom.
The couch is getting matchy matchy with my GLUSH/ travel bag!
The hotel is filled with these metal wire art pieces by local artists, even in the rooms.
This is the restaurant of the hotel, I immediately fell in love with the wall piece. Below you can see it’s actually a fish/eel.
These wall murals look like UFOs to me, or maybe floating islands like those in Avatar?
Tuk tuks are always the most convenient way of transport in Bangkok, the hotel offers free rides to the Phloen Chit station which is 5mins away.
If you prefer a ride in “style”, you can also hire this vintage Benz of the hotel.
I have to say it was a very pleasant stay, (apart from the little hiccup that the cab driver took a bit of time to find this little alley where the hotel is located at). Hotel staff are all very friendly and helpful.
