Tokyo (Part 2. Tokyo Fashion Week)

The reason I went to Tokyo is for a trade fair for GLUSH/ during the Tokyo Fashion Week, thanks to Fashion Farm Foundation for the wonderful support and providing such opportunities to HK fashion designers! Here are a few pictures at the RoomsLINK fair, shows we attended, and a little other random encounters.

Some of my essentials I brought along with me: H&M hat, Chrisu Scarf (my current favorite!), Rodial BB cream (don’t even need concealer for topping up!), Marc Jacobs floral makeup pouch, H&M shades, vintage necklace from my best friend

I couldn’t help myself with the addiction to the beautiful shapes and blue sky before the typhoon! Bare with me…

We were just randomly walking and saw this little store selling carved name stamps… the display is simple yet pretty – wood!

There was this weekend market around at Ebisu, filled with organic food, pickles, and home made nom noms!

Love love love this pumpkin corner!

Halloween can be romantic, no?

There was this little furniture shop near our exhibition hall, couldn’t help being a tourist and took a pic on their line of stools =)

This is the building of our exhibition hall, Belle Salle, with beautiful reflection of the sky.

Me (wearing Sass & Bide cape) with the Fashion Guerilla gun (by Fashion Farm Foundation) at my little grassy booth =)

Kay from Daydream Nation, Octo from Octology, me, and Zoe from Zo-ee – Hong Kong designers’ pride!

More close-ups of my booth here

This is our latest SS2014 collection, VISI VERSA, which is with a light reflective silhouette at night (as shown in the picture above)

One of my personal favorite piece from the collection, featuring SS2014 top and skirt from TwS

The booze bathtub for the HK booth cocktail…. no, we didn’t finish it. Mission impossible…

This super cute Japanese couple looked like they were just shopping around in SOGO, but the gentleman is actually an editor from a local daily newspaper! He was really interested in our booth, asked us where we were from, and took out his little notepad and pen to jot down all the points… how often do reporters do quick-hand notes nowadays? And the cutest thing is that his wife is his personal assistant carrying his business cards, and the bag while he’s busy writing. That is love.

We had a chance to sit for one of the fashion shows at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week – Han Ahn Soon.

The designer herself got surrounded right in front of us while we were having a little drink.

This might look a bit spooky – it’s just a ceiling of a tiny bar in Shibuya that we randomly found in a small alleyway. Not going to recommend it as the bar lady wasn’t friendly…

Spot GLUSH/ in Shibuya! Haha!

Part 3 will be coming soon – it will be about the art galleries I have visited during the stay. Hope you will like it =)
