Singapore might not be the most romantic places on earth but there are hotels for a quick getaway to reboot the romance for couples. See below for some inspirations:
1. Naumi Hotel
Rooms: I have personally tried their Coco Chanel inspired “Gabrielle” suite, and absolutely loved it. With an optional transparent (you can play with the milky glass switch) bath tub, I could spend a whole day there with a bottle of champaign. If you are keen on a more unisex choice, go for the Andy Warhol inspired “Nirwana” suite.
Facilities: Free Wifi, gym, rooftop bar and swimming pool (not huge but good enough, very chillaxing). We had a drink on a Thursday night there and it was quite a cool crowd of expats and locals. Very pleasant and professional staff, everything is clean and bright.
Location: 41 Seah Street Singapore 188396
2. Lloyd’s Inn
Rooms: Go for either the Patio room or the Big Skyroom (they are suites) for a private romantic yet minimalistic getaway. Those bath tubs are perfectly placed in the most tranquil corner of the suites.
Facilities: Free Wifi, outdoor pantry for your breakfast, rooftop bar and swimming pool.
Location: 2 Lloyd Road Singapore 239091
Facilities: Free Wifi, bar and restaurant.
Location: 31-37 Bukit Pasoh Road, Singapore 089845
